The objects of the club are to foster the spirit of rambles throughout the year, and engage in social activities during the winter months.
Organised rambles take place every Sunday throughout the year, and new members are always welcome,
whatever their age.
Rambles start from Packer Spout, Town Hall Square, Rochdale (alternatively at the top of the steps near the Parish Church)

Ramblers are welcome from all areas including but not limited to Rochdale, Littleborough, Milnrow, Shaw, Oldham and all surrounding areas.

Why not come along and join us on any Sunday.
You do NOT have to be a member to sample one of our rambles.
But please ensure you wear sensible clothing, with a strong pair of shoes or walking boots.

It would be adviseable to contact us before making any special trips to ensure that the walk is as scheduled.

Also please bring a snack and a cold drink or small flask of tea/coffee as we have a short refreshment break half-way through the walks.

CONTROL OF DOGS ON RAMBLES
Members bringing dogs on rambles are reminded that any accident or damage cause by a member's dog is the owners sole responsibility.
The law now is that in farming country, dogs must be on a lead or under close control. Otherwise a farmer is within his/her rights to shoot a dog that is worrying or causing distress to livestock.
